I am Chinenye Ajayi, an energy professional, electricity law and policy expert, and seasoned commercial lawyer with over 12 years of experience advising governments, developers, and financiers on power and infrastructure projects across Africa. My expertise lies at the intersection of law, policy, and sustainability, where I help structure and execute impactful projects that expand energy access and foster economic development. As Founder and CEO of Solfa Power Limited, I lead a clean energy company focused on providing affordable and reliable solar solutions to homes and businesses in Nigeria.

Beyond business, I am committed to purpose-driven leadership and faith-based mentoring. I founded Graced Energy Professionals for Africa (GEPA), a vibrant community of energy professionals passionate about delivering divine solutions to Africa’s energy needs. I also lead the Reignite Mentorship Programme, an 8-week discipleship initiative for Christian professionals seeking to rekindle their walk with God. Through speaking engagements, advocacy, and publications, I contribute to conversations on energy transition, market reform, and sustainable development. At the heart of my work is a deep love for God, a passion for people, and a firm belief that Africa’s energy challenges can be solved with the right people, policies, and purpose. I’m happily married to Mr. Abidemi Ajayi, and together we are raising three amazing children who inspire my commitment to legacy and leadership.
